The hotel is in a great location just across the Methow River from downtown Winthrop. Several good dining options are nearby. Front desk staff members were welcoming, helpful and friendly. Breakfast was a delightful surprise: the food was far above average for this class of hotel, the dining area was kept in order, and our meal got our day started on a high note. We stayed here at the end of a long day touring North Cascades National Park. A restful night here energized us for another fantastic day in the National Park.

Great stay! We were worried about arriving near midnight, but they had an envelope with our key cards waiting at the front and a phone number in case of emergencies or other issues. Hot tub was great, and they have a great space setup along the river to read, relax, BBQ, or play volleyball. Breakfast was hotel chain standard. Some other reviewers complained about the quality/datedness of the rooms and beds, but we didn't find them to be particularly above or below average. Overall a really lovely stay in a great little town!

The Inn is a classic rural country motel. The facilities are good. Our room was clean. The breakfast was decent. The scrambled eggs our second morning there were good. The staff was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the pool. We had it all to ourselves in the early afternoon.

A surprise stay, seems like this is an independently owned property. And what a family friendly place, the hotel surrounds an amazing courtyard with corn hole, pool and hot tub. you can check out toys and bikes. There is a lovely back field to do a fire and star gaze which you should do. This place understands the town shuts down early and has a BBQ to cook on and a Thriftway next door, which we cooked as our kids played a game of corn hole, there is a nice picnic set up. The owner was quick to replace the empty propane tank and offer cooking utensil's. I would say hanging out and relaxing in the courtyard was easily one of the best parts of our long trip. This is an amazing family friendly spot, just standard rooms but we spent very little time there, but there were also free movies, coffee and a great breakfast.

The breakfast was very complete and very good. Our room was quite clean and the beds comfortable. We really liked making use of the grill in the patio area. There is a grocery store just two blocks away so we were able to save considerable coin by grilling a nice NY strip one night and some chicken another night. We ate down by the river and it was quite scenic, and MUCH quieter than at a restaurant. PS: The grocery store has local brews, like from Old Schoolhouse Brewery, for a lot less than at the restaurant.

We really enjoyed our stay. The facility was comfortable and clean. I got to enjoy the pool. And the breakfast was above and beyond anything expected! We'd definitely stay there again.

Rooms were clean and picked up. Property was well maintained and had a great area in the back by the river to sit. Good basic breakfast with coffee. Staff was very friendly. Property good with dogs but you couldn't tell a bunch of dogs were there which is a good sign it is well maintained.

The staff was very friendly, the room was clean and accommodating. The beds were actually comfortable! Most hotels have uncomfortable beds so, I was pleasantly surprised. As someone who frequently visits Winthrop, this was my first time at Abby Creek Inn and I will definitely stay here again. The location is perfect! Close to town but not to the point where you get stuck in the tourist traffic jam scene. I would recommend this place to anyone!

Great stay for our hockey team. Thank you for taking care of the families. Really hoping we get invited to Winthrop again in 2026. The GM was super friendly and helpful to our group. Cool guy! Breakfast was perfect for a free meal. The free lobby coffee was better than I expected. In the rooms we liked the hot shower with great water pressure. Also the rack above the ptac was perfect for drying out hockey gear. The room was immaculately clean when we arrived.

The included breakfast was a nice addition. The hot tub and sauna were a great thing to look forward to after a cold day. The location is great and the parking is super easy. Price was nice.
